Annica Danko

Annie has been a creative force since adolescence, exploring multiple artistic disciplines with curiosity and care. She began sewing professionally in high school and has since developed a deep love for all things textile. Her passion lies in sharing the joy of making, and mindful fashion—encouraging others to see beauty in the worn, the repaired, and the repurposed. A strong advocate for sustainable fashion, Annie sees clothing as both functional and deeply personal—items that support us as we move through the world while expressing who we are. Through educating, she helps others reconnect with their garments in meaningful and lasting ways. She is currently studying sociology, inspired by the social and cultural dimensions of textiles—how fabric connects us across histories, communities, and identities. Alongside her academic work, Annie continues to explore the evolving textile industry, having attended international expos focused on dyeing, spinning, printing, manufacturing, and supply chains. She’s always eager to learn more, especially through non-fiction books that dive deep into the intersections of fabric, fashion, and society.
