In this class you will learn how to make a circular rug using strips of fabric and a special tool. The technique is not difficult and it’s a fun, relaxing project to work on while watching tv or visiting with friends. You will not complete your rug in the three-hour class, but will get enough done to be comfortable with the process. Course difficulty – easy Length of course – three hours Supplies needed: Scissors Fabric strips. Lightweight wovens, such as quilting cotton, work best. Denim and wools are not suitable. Colour choice is up to you. Use coordinating fabrics or mix and match. Cut, don’t rip, strips into 1” by at least 40”. You’ll need between 20 and 25 strips.
